Masis Usenmez

Masis Usenmez, a Turkish photographer of Armenian origin, is now based in Rennes, France. Photography, a passion since his childhood, was rediscovered in his early 30s. Describing his work as “street and fine art photography”, he enjoys experimenting with light and shadow, which play a central role in his images. His latest series, shot on public transport, captures people’s emotions through windows, creating an intimate connection between subject and viewer. Istanbul Stories: Through the Window is now available on OpenSea, while his sold-out collection Kar: Istanbul under Snow is currently featured on OpenSea’s front page.
